SL Furnitures ("we", "us", "our") operates https://slfurnitures.com and the "Buy Furnitures" Android application (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

- Account information: your name, email address, and optional phone number. Accounts are authenticated through Clerk. We do not receive or store your password. Clerk provides us with your account identifier, email address, and verification status. - Enquiries and furniture requests: the name, phone number and/or email address, subject, message, and optional reference attachment (JPEG, PNG, WebP, or PDF) you submit. Attachments are stored privately and are available only to authorised staff. - Operational and security information: request identifiers, IP address, device or browser type, timestamps, and rate-limit or error records used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service. - Device information for notifications: the current release does not register your device for push notifications. If we enable notifications in a future release, we will register a device token with our servers and update this policy before doing so. - We do not collect payment card details because the current release does not offer cart, checkout, or online payment.
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you. - To receive, review, and respond to enquiries and made-to-order furniture requests. - To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, including abuse prevention and rate limiting. - To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service. - We do not use your personal information for advertising or sell it.

The website uses cookies needed for Clerk authentication and core operation. The Android app stores Clerk session state in Android Keystore-backed secure storage. The current release does not use advertising or analytics trackers. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling authentication cookies may prevent you from signing in.
We share personal information only as needed to operate the Service: - Clerk, for authentication and account verification. - Google Firebase, for push messaging when notifications are enabled. - Our hosting, storage, and email providers, which process data on our instructions. - Authorised staff who need the information to respond to your request or enquiry. - Authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information. Some providers may process data outside Tanzania; we take reasonable steps to protect it consistent with applicable law.
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy and to meet legal, accounting, or security requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous. Enquiry and request records may be kept to handle follow-up and resolve disputes.
We use technical and organisational measures including HTTPS, access controls, request validation, authorisation, rate limiting, and private attachment storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
